we didn't got really feedback to some event types here on the forum.

From my Skype Conversations most of the players think that mage events are not so "needed" - finally, i like the crusade feature but also there was feedback from some players to me, that this is too time consuming and a "must have to play" in combination isn't funny in most situations.

I developed a new event type (beside the meat party for summer) what we want to try next - but if you have some nice ideas / wishes or some feedback to events, feel free to write that here :) just with feedback i can play some more stuff and also plan regular events.

  • I'm a space invasion player, I like the dynamics you use for weekend events.

Moved to damoria, I liked the fast world that was made recently. Also the crusades you did on weekends. Another idea would be weekend events to get an extension to the sanctuary, earn a star for resources, etc. I'm not asking for big events, only that between those events on weekends we have something extra to spend time on.

yeah i know what you mean. I like these Gold-Events from SpaceInvasion, its short, simple and anyone can get cool bonuses.

Im trying to bring more Bandit Camp stuff into damoria, maybe thats what we can do. I will look for a simplier setup for the Crusade. Maybe its not so that you have a 1000% (or more) bonus for a week on so many castles anymore, but than we can run that more often in an interval.

Perfect, that's the idea I was referring to.

The noblemen and noblewomen were bored in the land of Damoria. They went in search of entertainment and searched town and country. And they found entertainment: The dancing bear, a fairground, a troubadour, a theater company, a magician and jugglers.

The king who is lucky enough to find this amusement sees that a little distraction does the inhabitants of one of his castles good.

During the weekend, several traveling companies appear in Damoria. You can invite them by sending your senator (with an armed escort) to the coordinates of the company. If your senator is the first to reach the party, you will get a reward. Some thing as: Your woodcutters are interested in the dancing bear and you get a full storehouse of wood. The jugglers would be good for an hour of extra resourcesspeed. A funfair keeps your residents in a good (productive) mood for a whole day and the theater company inspires twice as many young people to put their cross under an army contract for 3 days.

After the invitation, the traveling company will reappear in another part of Damoria and will gladly accept new invitations .

I like the Crusade. It seems to me that it can give both big bonuses and contained bonuses. The various sessions have demonstrated this.

It doesn't have to be "time consuming". I think that with a few minutes used per session you can get interesting bonuses. Players with time available have another (welcome) event, those who can afford less will get smaller but interesting results.

If the crusade lasts for a weekend, if the number of moves are few but reasonable, if the "consumables" for carrying out moves are also "short" but reasonable, if the map is established with this intention, i.e., if the possible bonus is contained (maximum or medium before rank bonus approx. 100% ?).

With an interesting but "short" relationship of moves, costs and bonuses, the difference between players spending more or less time will be small. Players with more time and more dedication will benefit more (especially in the ranking bonus) and players with little time or on vacation (why not?) will get interesting results without big differences between them.

With a "shorter" cost/benefit ratio, even the "apparent" use of "third parties" to pave the way for good locations will be minimized.
