    why is it that when we lose our speed bonus it increases the build time but when we regain the speed bonus it does not reduce the build time?

    There is no reduction when losing the bonus.

    When a build is started (first spot in the queue) the time will not change.

    Just for other places in queue it will calculated when the position is started.

    It's a pity that the bonus doesn't work on research
