• Basically yes you are were talking about a new building AFO which is basically a research building therefore I was not going off topic. But simply saying that why would we need the AFO if we can have the Research Lab reduction times changed to allow for continual reduction amount % up to 100% and beyond that. By making the change to % amounts to the research Lab you actually get what your trying to produce from a AFO with a building that is all ready in the game. So I see no point in bringing a AFO which is just another research building that reduces time's. So the problem lays within the % amount of the research Lab not the need for a new building.

  • halien yes I am talking about a new building which only starts when you have a lab 20 on your plapla and this new research building will give you 50% or more reduction than and I do say that ON THE TIME of construction of the research ..
    - Do you think that you will have the means to put 400 Billion of Metal and 160 Billion of spice to make a lab 30 .. ???

    - are you ready to wait 1,220 days for your tech .. ??
    ok - 60 days because you will have successfully completed your 30 lab but how soon will you have a 30 lab ???


    so I think at some point you will not want to do anything because it will take you 10 times too long and to prove to you what I say here is the table of the lab from level 18 and up to level 30 with the resources and construction time so do your calculation in how long you will have your level 30 and that with an AMS 8

    If you want a really research "fight" you can go into the Sirius Universe like it was already wrote here. But in a RETRO universe, changing something like this, its rly hard and have to thought about completly.


    I think there are many ways where you could get research reductions (hour by hour) and don't reduce it by a base. So a player which had already researched a bigger researrch has no benefit and no disadvantage - with your idea, he had the disadvantage that he waits for something you want to reduce.

    A hour by hour reduction (like it was implemented right now) is much more fair like your version. A player can stil get a research done as faster as before - but anyone had to play spaceinvasion.


    With your solution a player can reduce a research by 600days (like your exmaple) and anotther player had already done these 600 days... with my solution, both players had the same reduction which they got from rewards and not different stuff.

    the next technology will be double therefore 1248 Days and the next level also therefore 2496 DAYS
    1) explain to me how we are going ??? with LONG times too .. ??

  • Well your calculations haven't taken into account the events that are run during the
    year where if you did the events you can get the prize of taking off research time. But yes late game research does take long times. Well at least then Techs don't get way out of control. And to those who wait the time and succeed in achieving the next level get the bonus of probably being the only one with that higher tech for a while.

    to put a bonus compared to the YEARS of the players, it is good BUT take an example


    - a player plays for 12 years he has 120 M points .. for XX reasons he is sick, hospitalized .. 3 months or for any other reason IRL, he turns yellow, loses his fleet ..... 3 months more late he starts playing again so new account .. !! ???? what becomes of his 20% he had won ??? he has LOST everything so he has to go back to 12 years to recover his 20% ... ??


    While with the system that I propose, you need to have the LABORATORY level 20 to unlock the new technology and there you have to go up to level 25 to WIN 50% .... it's 50% over the TIME and not on the resources it takes to build. It remains the same
