Hello Space Pilots!
We have received many requests from GeNeSIS² players who do not know how much points/ships/.. will be deducted when transferring to another universe. The team has always been very closed here. There's a reason (and that's very important!): If we were to give out accurate information on how to deduct, countermeasures can easily be taken in a strategy game like SpaceInvasion. There are a few possibilities we can use, but big changes are as good as not possible.
We still have to find a solution to not let you stand in the dark, so to make an announcement, what we plan to do (this is still not final - should any problems occur, we will still have opportunities to make adjustments here).
Adaptation speed factor:
For the GeNeSIS² Universe, we have changed the building time and research time for the maximum level of the research or building level from the RETRO or Nexus universes. They will no have any speed (4x) bonus anymore.
That means: Suppose the pig iron mine maximum level in Nexus and RETRO is at level 50. This means you will not get a 4x bonus on the build time starting with level 50 (level 49 will still give you 4x building speed) ,
The same applies to research times.
This means that players in GeNeSIS can still catch up as intended and overtake players in RETRO and Nexus in building points, but building levels from the maximum level are no longer such interesting.
For research is important to us, the gap between GeNeSIS² and Nexus or RETRO caught up, but with this change, although an advantage can be worked out, but from the maximum level, the time is the same for all.
Thus, all invested urplasma in research shortening are still active and worthwhile, but from the maximum level, the same conditions are created between the universes.
What does the takeover cutback look like?
We are CURRENTLY not planning any reduces for the RETRO Universe. All players who want to transfer their account from GeNeSIS² to RETRO receive no cuts in research, fleet or buildings.
For the Nexus universe, we are planning the following reductions:
- 30% deduction of fleets (no defense)
- 30% of the reduction of raw materials
- On all planets building levels are to be reduced: Here we take 20% of the used fields. Assuming that you have used 300 fields, we reduce building levels until a total of 60 levels have been reached. Reduction always takes into account the biggest buildings. That means: If your Highest Building is pigiron Mine 50, we reduce it to Level 49 (50Level in the Counter). Now if pigiron Mine and Kryptonite Mine both have Level 49, the script randomly selects one of the two mines and reduces it to Level 48. The counter is now at 98 and you have reached the target of 60 (20% of 300 used fields). With this solution you can control yourself which buildings should be reduced.
With these changes we hope to have taken an important step. Nevertheless, we rely on your feedback, your ideas or your concerns to modify or extend these changes.
best regards
Your SpaceInvasion Team
