today we want to summarize all information about the planned fusion of GeNeSIS into the retro universe. As already written in an announcement, this was determined with a survey to the retro players. With a majority of 72.7% were retro players for this merger.
The GeNeSIS universe will run as planned until September 17th, 23:59:59 CET.
Starting from the following Monday, September 18th from 12:00 CET it will be possible to copy his GeNeSIS account into the retro universe.
All Urplasma prizes will also be credited to your accounts on Monday.
We will publish a list of players who have won merchandise packages in the ranks 1-10.
Information on account management:
First: Players who have taken over their account from Bigpoint and have been linked from the Bigpoint partnership can also transfer to the retro universe if they can not create a new account there.
The transfer function will only be displayed if you do not have a retro account. If you have a retro account on another Bit#Tag account, please do not log into these after the transfer! Please put this on permanent escape until the deletion or write to us that this account should be deleted.
If you have a retro account on the same Bit#Tag Account and you would like to "exchange" it, we ask you to communicate this to the GO team via GO-Button. We will look at your case and (if correct) delete your retro account directly. Please note: farewell battles or fleet provision are punished by us as usual and this can also be attributed to the new GeNeSIS account!
If you have been locked in the retro universe, you can still transfer to the retro universe with a GeNeSIS account. Excepted from the transfer are only accounts, which are blocked globally or in GeNeSIS.
Information on how to adapt GeNeSIS Accounts:
GeNSIS accounts had up to 20 planets for over 2 years, so most of the time 8 planets more than the retro. This is why we will automatically make the following adjustments during the copying process:
- All fleets are reduced by 30% (evenly)
- All resources are reduced by 30%
- GeNeSIS Accounts get +50 slots on all planets and +15 slots on all asteroids
- GeNeSIS players must delete planets to get the same number as retro players.
Preparatory phase for transfer (GeNeSIS player):
In GeNeSIS, all fleets are recalled on Monday. Please note that alliance attacks can not be recalled! You are responsible for recalling these fleets!
We recommend that you plan in advance which planets you want to delete. If you bought at least 2 additional planet slots, you have the maximum number of planets (14) available in the retro universe. If you have not bought any additional planet slots, you have 12 planets available.
Construction or fleet orders are transferred during the merger.
The transfer week:
From Monday, 0:00 CET an attack protection will be set until Sunday 23:59:59 CET in retro. All fleets are recalled. From Monday, 12:00 CET, GeNeSIS players can join the universe.
All players (both retro and GeNeSIS players) can move each planet starting from 12:00 CET. This feature is available until Saturday, 23:59:59 CET. It is not possible to use the planet-shift function as a tactic to carry out an attack.
Players from the retro universe retain their planet positions. You can still move your planets.
Players from the GeNeSIS universe will get the closest planet position. Since colonization flights are possible during attack protection, you should initialize the transfer as soon as possible, otherwise players may occupy the planet positions.
After the merge:
If you are a GeNeSIS player or a retro-player, you may notice other accounts that wish to benefit from the merge by using the other accounts as a farm or possible fleet providing was done (or other forms of cooperation). In this case please notify the team by the GO button.
In the player profile now, if the account has been transferred, it is determined from which universe the account originates. So you can easily see if this is a GeNeSIS account or not.
