We would like to inform you today about a change in the partnership between BitMeUp and Bigpoint. Many years after the game was taken over by us, Bigpoint was a reliable and committed partner for us. However, we now wish to pursue other objectives. This means for all SpaceInvasion players that their accounts must be copied to the "Bit#Tag" system developed by BitMeUp. You will keep all of your game scores. Our goal is a transition without longer offline times.
We start on March 15th.
For a good preparation, we will shut down the game on March 14 from 22:00 CET. During the day of of March 15th, the service will be available again.
Attack protection will be set in all universes from March 14th, 22:00 CET to March 16th, 12:00 CET. Fleets are recalled and assistants are refunded for 48 hours.
What does that mean for me?
You can continue playing your Bigpoint account on the Bigpoint Portal(s). Your linked games are all preserved.
From March 15th, you will have to log in to your account via the new link "former Bigpoint player?".
After a successful log-in via the Bigpoint access, you will be shown a transfer page to create a new BitMeUp account or to link directly to an existing BitMeUp account.
Unfortunately, Bigpoint does not allow players to continue to join new universes. We regret this fact, but from contracts this situation unfortunately arises for us. However, thanks to the BitMeUp account, you have the opportunity to quickly create another SpaceInvasion account and assign it directly to your BitMeUp account. Because this may cause you to use a new nickname for your new or old account, we have given each player the option to make a free change of name.
If you are not a Bigpoint player, you have the option to join new or existing instances.
We apologize for the inconvenience. We can't and won't reply to questions about "how" a player was aquired from Bigpoint or not.
How long do I have time for this?
From March 15th to March 31st, you have the option to "skip" the transfer process. This means that you can still log in to your account as usual and perform all escape flights, attacks or other actions as you wish (decide for yourself when you want to take over!). After March 31st, you have to take over. This means that you can no longer log in to your account without linking it to a BitMeUp account.
You have until September 15th to take over your account. All accounts which have not yet been transferred at that time are permanently deleted.
Please note: the game does not stop. This means that inactive rules and deletion in the universes continue to be used as usual!
By the way: You can also directly link a BitMeUp account with your SpaceInvasion account. Then you have to log in with your BitMeUp account on March 15th instead of with your Bigpoint account.

Should not the BitMeUp network be voluntary?
Yes, it was originally planned. However, this is now unavoidable by taking the game from the Bigpoint portal. However, we would like to take away any fears that you might have to use the BitMeUp network.
- With the BitMeUp network you have a login for all games, you can (but do not have!) access your SpaceInvasion, your Damoria and your Mebula account from one place in your BitMeUp account.
- You have full access to our forums with the BitMeUp account.
- You can connect up to 5 SpaceInvasion, Damoria or Mebula accounts with a BitMeUp account. It is, of course, up to you whether you want to create several BitMeUp accounts for your game accounts.
- You will not receive any unwanted messages or spam from us! If you wish, you can optionally subscribe to the newsletter.
- Everything is anonymous. You can choose a nickname for the BitMeUp network, a separate name for the forum and a different name for the game (your current name will be taken from the game).
- The portal and all its functions are free of charge.
- We plan to provide additional features for the BitMeUp accounts (for example, a chat system). Already there are changes (see here for details: Update 15th march).
How can I buy Urplasma after the partnership between BitMeUp and Bigpoint has ended?
In the future, we will handle payment transactions with a new payment partner who will continue to ensure fast, reliable and secure processing of all payment transactions and offers a wide range of payment options. A clear advantage is that support requests related to payment can be handled directly by BitMeUp without any detours.
And that's not all!
With our new partner we can finally offer you a long awaited feature. It is now possible to purchase and give gifts such as urplasma or assistants to your friends in the "gifts" category in the shop.
A few more adjustments that make sense through these updates!
At the same time, we want to adapt the original plasma. We find that the Urplasma values represent too large monetary values (currently costs 1 Urplasma about 10 cents).
In some events we would like to reward you with Urplasma, which was not yet possible because of the former conversion course. That is why we will adapt all your urplasma balances (both Uni- and Global Urplasma), profit sources as well as shop or other items. Here, we chose the factor x10. This means that all prices, profit sources (referer system, transmitter or research) and your current urplasma balances will be multiplied by 10 on March 15th.
Furthermore, with this update you'll in future get 1 Urplasma for each click on a vote button. While we have no way to see if you really vote for SpaceInvasion, we hope that this bonus will encourage you not only to make the clicks, but also to vote correctly and support the community's popularity.

We hope to gain your trust in the BitMeUp network and want to make the transfer time as comfortable as possible.
For this reason, all players who have linked a SpaceInvasion account from March 15th to March 31st, will receive all assistants for one week after login. This applies to all players, including those who have previously linked their Spaceinvasion account.

Finally, a note: We know that some players have passed on their passwords for special situations so that others might have access to the account if something happens to the player. While this is forbidden by us, we still have conjectures that some players still practice this way. We would like to recommend these players to change their passwords before switching over. If accounts are stolen by someone else, we can only investigate this very hard or not at all. In the case of questions regarding the holder of the account, we reserve the right to block this account directly due to non-compliance with the rules.
