    Hello Space Pilots!

years ago we took a big step in SpaceInvasion 2 with the introduction of the aliens and “Artificial Intelligence”. Today we want to give you all the information about how we want to bring this in SI Classic.
All of this is not theory - you are invited to participate in our Aurea Test universe next Friday (8pm CEST), July 24th!

The AI update is divided into two blocks:

Spacia has been improved. You can expect the following changes:

    • Spacia now changes its position within a given radius after 3-7 days. However, she does not “wander”, she always stays around here starting point, where she was initially spawned
    • Spacias planets will now upgrade or downgrade. Every Friday the most or least attacked Spacia planets will changed.
    • There is now a chance to intercept a returning escape flight with a low probability. If your attack on Spacia is lucky, make sure you can take up to 100M of all kinds of resources!

The new threat “aliens” has appeared in our galaxies!

We are pleased to present the new war against the aliens for SI Classic. The current status is a beta version, which should be expanded to make more tasks, interceptions or other strategic options possible in the SI Classic in the future. We want to develop the next steps together with you to bring the most fun to everybody.
We hope for many ideas / suggestions from you about which functions we can expand these aliens.

With this feature we tried to implement some points from the community that we have heard for years. Unlike other announcements, we have listed below various features “Developers Comment”. You are invited to read our thoughts and respond :)

Now enough written; In the next post you will receive all information about the aliens in SI Classic that we have planned so far.

Stay healthy - and have fun in space!

    Best regards
    Your SpaceInvasion Team

    SI Classic: Alien Update

The attack on the aliens is by a fleet that you have assembled previously. The fleet must be assembled every Friday. We call this the "attack wave". An attack wave always lasts 1 week and starts on Friday at midnight (German time).
However, you cannot select your entire fleet for battle. Each player can put together their fleet based on a new value called “tactical fleet strength”.

What is the new value of “tactical fleet strength”?
This value represents your fleet strength without the addition of defense. This value also simulates certain combat scenarios of how strong your fleet really is in certain situations.
    There are 4 scenarios:

    • Imperial starbases: these gigantic ships need small ships to ensure the safety of their weapons, turrets and engines:

      • Small fighters
      • Phoenixes
    • Stealth bombers can only flank unnoticed in a battle if there is enough distraction in combat.

      • Warships
      • Star cruisers
    • Destroyers can only be brought into the correct position if they have escort protection.

      • Warships
      • Star cruisers
      • Small fighters
      • Phoenixes
    • Battleships are the most balanced ship and are specifically designed for large battles.

      • A battleship gives a small bonus to every other warship in your fleet

    Sequence of an attack wave:
A new attack wave starts on Friday at midnight.
All players with a minimum tactical fleet strength of 10,000 can then assemble their fleet for the fights against the aliens.
The size of the fleet is defined by 10% of your “tactical fleet strength”. You can then choose ships to be used in the battle against the aliens. These ships don't have to be on your planets during selection.
The sum of the damage values of the selected ships represents your combat strength for the attack wave and must be less than (or equal to) your tactical combat strength.

Every player can only attack a black hole once. As soon as the next attack wave starts, you can plan attacks on these black holes again!

Each player can launch a certain number of "invisible attacks" on aliens each day. If these attacks are used up, the player will be able to start another invisible attack with urplasma or (for Galaxyscanner) start visibly.

    The black holes:
Black holes will randomly appear in our universe. These have defined different colors, which determine the strength of the alien.

The attack on a black hole consists of two conditions:

    • the attackpower needed to defeat the alien. Place any ships in your fleet for at least to achieve the same strength value.
    • some aliens need certain types of ships in battle against them.

    The following colors are available:

    • White: these black holes are very easy and can only be attacked by players below AZ17

      • These aliens have no ship requirements for battles
    • Green: these are for AZ17 players. The opponent is still not a big challenge.

      • Very rarely do these aliens have ship requirements
    • Blue: these opponents are more difficult to fight.

      • These aliens most of the time have ship prerequisites
    • Red: these are gigantic opponent groups. Only very experienced players can fight them. As a reward for the successful fight, you will receive mentor stars on top for the protection of the small members!

    The growth of the aliens:
Aliens can develop at the other end of the galaxy connection - just like you! There is a 60min interval in which an alien grows. Some aliens grow very quickly, some very slowly.
At the same time, aliens also arm when they are attacked. Then you need more ships to fight him.

    Rewards for fighting the aliens:

    Spice:
You get Spice for every attack. The Spice value is made up of the attackpower required for the alien and required ships. But there are deviations - there may be aliens who give you a lot of spice, others are worse.

    War emblems:
You will receive these new badges for every successful fight. You always get 10 war emblems for 1% of your fleet strength. The limit is (without additional functions) 1,000 war emblems that you can receive per week.
All players can achieve this, regardless of whether Fleeter, Miner or new players.

    Mentor stars:
Red aliens are more difficult and require more planning. If you face these aliens, you will be rewarded for protecting the smaller players.

    Redeeming your war emblems:
You can exchange war emblems you've received (or saved) for great bonuses. Some bonuses have a cooldown. If you trade one of these items, the cooldown will start on the entire category.

    Exchange options:
Exchange 1 War Emblem for 50,000 Spice
Exchange 30 war emblems for the Inactive Farmer for 24 hours
Exchange 200 war emblems for 7 days + 20% attack strength of your fleets against aliens
Exchange 100 war emblems for 10% more production on a planet for 7 days
Exchange 50 war emblems for 4 hours of research time reduction

    These bonuses share the cooldown:
Exchange 10,000 war emblems for a planet move(180 day cooldown)
Exchange 2,000 war emblems for 2x production for 7 days (30 day cooldown)
Exchange 5,000 war emblems for 30 days research time reduction (90 day cooldown)
Exchange 2,000 war emblems for 7 days of fleet cost reduction (bonus). (14 day cooldown)
