- Official Post
Hello Spacepilots!
Today, we have another huge batch of updates and changes for you – and most importantly, we've implemented a lot of your feedback!
About two weeks ago, we added our new feedback button to all of our games. In SpaceInvasion in particular, many of you have already been using it to send us praise, criticism, feedback about events and features, and also bug reports.
Just a quick reminder: Bugs should still be reported through a support ticket. ![]()
That said, we were surprised by just how much feedback we received from players we had rarely or never heard from before, even though some of them have been actively playing SpaceInvasion for years. Thank you!
We do have one request, though: Feedback often needs to be discussed within the team first. A lot of it also involves development work and therefore needs to be reviewed by me – Dschi – personally. Since I work on several games and am involved in many feature-planning and development processes, this can take some time.
So please be patient if you don't receive a response to your feedback right away.
Your Feedback – Implemented
⚔️ Alliance Invasions Completely Reworked: Coalition Wars
First of all: All currently active invasions will end with this update.
Until now, invasions could essentially continue indefinitely and didn't have a clearly defined objective. That's changing.
Every war will now have a clear structure, specific objectives and a worthwhile reward:
- A war lasts either 1 or 3 months.
- After war is declared, there is a 7-day peace period to allow both sides to prepare.
- The attacker chooses the victory condition: destroy enemy ships, capture resources, or achieve both objectives.
- There are also three difficulty levels.
- The first side to reach its objective wins. This also applies to the defending alliance.
- If neither side reaches its objective before the war ends, the defender wins.
- The winning side receives +50% resource production for several days.
- The higher the difficulty, the longer the production bonus lasts.
- Coalitions: Alliance and wing partners can join the war on either side.
- A new war page shows progress bars, war messages including alliance logos, and a public war history.
With these changes, we want alliance wars to matter more while also giving them clearly defined limits.
After a war ends, there is a 7-day period during which no new war can immediately begin. If another war is declared afterwards, the usual 7-day preparation period follows.
This means that an alliance that has just been under siege gets at least two weeks to catch its breath before the next war can actually begin.
🎯 New Attack Zones
Mid-range players should no longer be farmed by accounts with billions of points.
We are therefore reworking the Attack Zone system:
- There are now 20 finely graduated attack zones.
- Full "everyone vs. everyone" combat only begins at 250 million points.
- However, all Top 50 players can be attacked by everyone.
- Top 50 players are clearly marked in the galaxy view and rankings.
- Counterattack: If you attack a Top 50 player, that player may attack you in return for the following 14 days.
- This also applies to ACS participants and Particle Beam attacks.
- The universe page now shows all Attack Zones, the Hetz Attack and the Speed Bonus at a glance.
These new Attack Zones apply to universes in which the Attack Zone system is enabled.
We have received many support tickets about this system. While some of the situations described in those tickets can be quite complex, we are aware that the current Attack Zone system has its problems.
With the AZ Ranges in Sirius, we already have an alternative system. It isn't perfect either, but it may provide another option in certain situations.
Overall, we still believe Attack Zones are an important part of the universes that use them, and we do not want to abandon the system.
However, we also believe that the thresholds need to be adjusted from time to time as the universes continue to develop.
Many players deliberately avoid attacking small or new players in order to help them progress. Others attack everything the system allows them to attack.
How you personally handle this is up to you. But the game itself needs clearly defined rules – and that is what we are adjusting now.
🛒 New in the Shop: Weekly and Monthly Specials
From now on, new special offers will regularly appear in the shop:
- A new Weekly Special begins every Friday.
- A larger Monthly Special begins on the 1st of every month.
- The offers are the same for all players.
- The contents change regularly and may include Multi Production, +50% Production, Synth Energy, +10% Synth Yield, an increased Alien Spice limit, Green Cores, Research Time Reduction or Urplasma.
- Every second month, the offer also includes 10 Red Fragments. Over 10 months, this allows you to collect enough fragments for one Red Core.
- Every Special costs less than the combined individual value of its contents and can be purchased once per universe.
We have created several packages for different playstyles.
We have also received feedback from smaller players who simply want to catch up, enjoy SpaceInvasion and continue growing – including players who are willing to spend money to do so.
🛡️ Save Assistant: Freely Select Your Planets
The Save Assistant is becoming much more flexible:
- A new list displays every planet and asteroid together with its image, coordinates and a selection checkbox.
- With Save Assistant Plus, you can freely choose any combination of planets and asteroids.
- Quick-selection options are available for "All Planets and Asteroids", "All Planets" and "All Asteroids".
- These options are available in all relevant menus.
👾 Alien Boss: Fairer Rewards, Improved Rankings
We have reworked both the Alien Boss rewards and the ranking presentation.
Your player bonus is now based on your own share of the total damage dealt to the boss.
Players ranked 1st through 15th receive a guaranteed minimum bonus:
- 1st place receives at least a 15% bonus.
- The positions in between are scaled accordingly.
- 15th place receives at least a 1% bonus.
However, your actual bonus can be higher.
For example, if the player in 1st place dealt 20% of the total damage to the boss, that player will receive a 20% bonus instead of only the guaranteed minimum of 15%.
This means that the system rewards not only your final ranking, but also your actual activity and contribution during the boss fight.
The ranking display has also been improved:
- Larger player images are now shown.
- The top three positions are highlighted in gold, silver and bronze.
- The same presentation is also used for alliances.
Spacia Changes
Spacia Raid
Players finishing in positions 6 through 10 now receive 1,000 War Emblems instead of 500.
The ranking also shows the reward for each position directly.
🚀 The New Spacia Boost
Some Spacia planets will now receive reinforcement fleets. These planets are highlighted on the galaxy map.
Using the Galaxy Scanner, you can see which reinforcement fleets are currently flying towards a Spacia planet.
Once they arrive, however, these fleets remain on the planet for only a very short time – up to a maximum of 15 seconds.
That means you'll need to keep an eye on them, time your attack correctly and strike at exactly the right moment!
But be warned: You probably won't be the only player watching those Spacia fleets.
These battles have several special rules.
In addition to the normal attack restrictions that apply to Spacia, you can complete a maximum of three Spacia Boost battles per day.
If you launch a fourth attack, no battle will take place.
There is another special mechanic regarding Spacia losses: Anything you destroy from Spacia during the battle is taken directly by your fleet.
As a result, a debris field is created only from:
- the attacker's own losses, and
- any part of Spacia's debris that the attacker was unable to carry away.
The normal SpaceInvasion attack-processing order still applies.
If two players attack the same Spacia planet at exactly the same time, the attack belonging to the fleet that has been travelling longer is processed first.
The second player will then only fight any remaining fleets, assuming there are any left.
An exception can occur, for example, if Player 1 has already completed their three allowed Spacia Boost battles for that day.
Additional Changes
- Expansion: Sabotage can no longer completely destroy a player's sector bonuses. There is now a limit on how much of those bonuses can be lost. Sector strength is still reduced accordingly for ranking purposes.
- Vacation Mode: After leaving Vacation Mode, you cannot attack other players for 24 hours. Attacks on Spacia are excluded from this restriction. A countdown shows the remaining restriction time.
- Trader: "Trade All" can now also be used for all asteroids or for planets and asteroids together.
- Recycling Yard: Defense units can now be recycled as long as there is no incoming attack on the respective planet.
- Alien Waves: A new button resets all bonuses whose cooldown has expired at once.
- Galaxy Scanner and Particle Building: The detail pages now show range and energy storage respectively for every level.
- Galaxy Map: Pressing A starts an attack directly, similar to S for espionage, E for event flights and R for recycling.
- Infinity: 10% of losses now go into the public debris field. Previously, this was 5%.
- Universe Page: A new menu shows events, BITMEUP missions including their progress, and your current event inventories.
- Player Search: Memorial accounts can now also be found.
- Settings: The alignment of the game content – left, centered or right – can now be configured normally.
- New Design: The new design is noticeably faster and uses significantly fewer resources, especially during long game sessions. More on that below.

📖 The Official SpaceInvasion Wiki
We have created an official wiki for SpaceInvasion.
It includes:
- all buildings, research, ships and defensive structures, including their values and level tables,
- guides covering the basics,
- fleet and combat,
- economy,
- the Synth Network,
- aliens and raids,
- alliances,
- Premium,
- and events.
The wiki is available in all supported languages and can be accessed directly from the game using the "?" button or the menu.
It can also be viewed without logging in.
For the wiki, we worked together with our AI tools to collect and organize the available information about SpaceInvasion.
Even within the team, it wasn't always obvious which information should already be considered public knowledge and which details had previously been kept less visible.
We have reviewed the wiki carefully. However, if you notice any mistakes or information that is no longer accurate due to recent changes, please send us a support ticket.
⚡ Faster and Lighter Gameplay
We have also made a number of technical improvements:
- Design files and scripts are now stored in your browser, making page changes significantly faster.
- This is particularly noticeable in the Galaxy, Shop, Synth and Planet views.
- The new design uses considerably less memory.
- Long game sessions should therefore no longer become increasingly sluggish.
- Effects now only run in areas you are actually looking at.
- Many animations have also been optimized.
- Performance Mode activates automatically on weaker devices.
- The "Disable Animations" option now actually disables all animations.
Bug Fixes
- Fleet Dispatch: The "Suspicious Activity Detected" message was sometimes shown incorrectly, particularly when clicking quickly or when using the Teleporter. It is also possible again to send fleets one after another from two open fleet tabs.
- Boss Ranking: Your own alliance was not displayed if it ranked below 5th place. It is now shown correctly and highlighted.
- Galaxy Scanner: The building page sometimes displayed a range that was too low.
- Page Alignment: Saving the chat settings incorrectly reset the page alignment to "centered".
- Logout: Clicking "Map" in the Expansion bonus overview or browsing through Astral Fleets no longer logs you out.
- Mobile: The Combat Simulator link in the fleet view works again, and the mobile Galaxy view can once again be selected.
- Planet View: The new design is now also fully available in English.
- Surveys: Questions and answers are once again displayed correctly in the player's language.
- Upgrade Missions: Astro buildings are now counted correctly.
- Missions: Daily missions completed across midnight are now reliably credited.
- Pioneer Path: +Power Assistants are now credited correctly.
- Expansion: Alien Spice bonuses are no longer rounded down to whole percentages.
- 2D Galaxy Map: The map now opens in widescreen mode only when widescreen mode is actually enabled.
- Galaxy Scanner: Issues on both the 2D and 3D maps have been fixed, as has the debris-field display in the Planet view.
- Stability: The cause of the server outage on September 25 has been fixed.
