Hello Spacepilots!
Today, we have several major updates for you that affect both SpaceInvasion and your Bitmeup account!
And on top of that, we have something completely new for you: Mebula Legends!
Bitmeup Portal
The Bitmeup Portal has received a major overhaul. In addition to an improved mobile version, there is now also a completely new desktop version.
Here are the most important new features:
Friends
- You can now add other players to your Bitmeup account. We distinguish between “Fellow Players” and “Friends.”
- Fellow Players can see your community name from the forum and whether you are online. However, they cannot see which game you are currently playing.
- Friends can additionally see your Bitmeup#Tag as well as which game you are currently playing.
- You can set a specific online status for your account or permanently appear as inactive.
- You can also decide individually for each friend whether they are allowed to see your online status.
- You can now chat directly with friends and fellow players.
- You can create group chats and invite friends and fellow players. This allows you to communicate with specific friends or groups independently of the in-game chats.
Games
- All games now have a completely redesigned overview page.
- There you can see news, patches, events and lots of information about your account at a glance.
- You can see how much time you have spent in a specific game and on a specific world.
- Events and news are now presented clearly and individually for each game.
Bitmeup App
The new Bitmeup App is now available for Windows, macOS – both Intel and Apple Silicon – and Linux!
- Log in once and stay signed in. Only certain updates may require you to log in again.
- Use the chat features, including notifications, just like a regular messenger.
- You can also “install” your games through the app. Many of the images and graphics we provide will then be downloaded directly. This not only saves bandwidth but can also make pages within the games load faster.
- Of course, you can still continue playing all games in your favorite browser.
SpaceInvasion
We have updated the SpaceInvasion start page to match the style of the new Bitmeup Portal, giving you a more consistent experience in the future.
The new overview includes, among other things:
- information about your account
- information about the universe
- current events
- news and patches
- your existing account transfer information
- the new Campaign Mode, which is currently still in development – stay tuned!

And there's more: A new event for Space Pilots!
Starting this Friday, August 14, through August 20, we would like to introduce the new Bit Hide-and-Seek Event in SI Classic and SI2!
Who is Bit?
Bit is our new little robot, and you will be seeing him in various places in the future. Some rather suspicious metal traders from the Sirius universe even claim that he has already been spotted in the new campaign and in District Null.
But now he is also making an appearance during our event week!
During the Bit Hide-and-Seek Week, you need to hide your own Bit robots somewhere in the universe. Simply choose a planet. Your Bit will fly there and hide.
At the same time, of course, you should try to track down the Bit robots hidden by other players!
You cannot see other players' hidden Bits directly – after all, they are well hidden. Instead, you need to send your espionage probes on a search flight to a planet.
If one or more Bit robots are hiding there, they will be discovered and destroyed. For every Bit you find, you will receive a Treasure Chest.
You can earn up to 100 Treasure Chests per day this way.
In addition to the Bits hidden by players, there are also several Bits placed by the system. So if you do not feel like searching the entire universe, you can specifically visit planets where the Bit graphic is displayed.
A new task is also waiting for you in the SpacePass. However, only Bit robots hidden by other players will count toward this task!
If one of your hidden Bit robots is found, the corresponding slot will become available again the following day, allowing you to hide another Bit.
In addition to the regular Treasure Chest rewards during the event week – up to 700 Treasure Chests in total, just like during the Treasure Chest Event – there are also two special prizes:
- The player whose Bit robot remains hidden for the longest total amount of time will receive an additional 500 Treasure Chests.
- The player with the longest-surviving Bit robot that is still active when the event ends will also receive 500 Treasure Chests.
If one player manages to win both categories, they will of course not simply receive 1,000 Treasure Chests.
We turned that into 1,337 Treasure Chests instead. 😉
The event will have one additional day of follow-up time. The Treasure Chest search will continue in GeNeSIS, and players in all other universes will also still be able to open their Treasure Chests during this period.

SpaceInvasion 2
For many years, we hardly changed anything in SpaceInvasion 2.
That ends today.
With today's update, we have launched SpaceInvasion 2 straight into 2026.
What has changed? Or perhaps the better question is: What hasn't changed?!
- There is a completely redesigned user interface.
- A new galaxy map has been added, featuring the familiar new graphics from SI Classic.
- Ships, defense systems and research now have new graphics, together with redesigned page layouts.
- The shop has been cleaned up and updated with the new assistant graphics.
- There is simply too much to list here: Many pages have been restructured, redesigned or rearranged to provide a more modern and enjoyable gameplay experience.
- Black Holes and the Alien Wave system are now also available in SpaceInvasion 2. The first Alien Wave will already begin this Friday!
- Along with the Alien Waves, SI2 now also receives War Emblems, the Emblem Shop, upgrades for the Alien Limit and Spice Yield, as well as the Alien Scanner.
- The Alien Boss is not yet available.
- The Alien Admiral is also not ready yet.
- SI2 now also includes the Tactical Fleet Strength ranking.

Mebula Legends
And now for another huge announcement!
The first Mebula Legends Test Season is live now!
Collect Mebulis, build your team and send them into battle. Conquer realms, discover increasingly powerful equipment and build your own empire piece by piece.
The further you progress, the rarer the companions waiting for you become. Some of them have never been seen by anyone before.
And then there are the myths. Some things in this world only start to make sense once you dig deep enough. We're not saying anything more than that. 😉
Important: Your progress during the Test Season will not be for nothing!
Everyone who joins now will receive a reward later on the official world. So when the real adventure begins, you will not be starting from zero – you will already have a head start!
You are the first players to enter this world.
