Hello Spacepilots,
today we have some news, smaller changes, and important information for you.
New Tool: Overview of Events and Patches
We have developed a new tool that uses AI to analyze our previous forum posts and summarize events, changes, and patches.
We know that players often search for specific changes or older information. Unfortunately, this information has not always been documented in the forum in the best possible way or made easy to find. Over many years, things can quickly become confusing.
That is why we now have a new overview that presents events and patches since 2016 in a sorted and summarized form.
The tool is currently in its first test phase. This means that some connections may still be incorrect, incomplete, or confusing. Nevertheless, we would like to show you this new option already and are looking forward to your feedback.
You can find the tool here:

Forum and Server Migration
We are already preparing the planned migration. Before moving the main services, we first want to move the forum to a new server.
We have chosen a solution where the forum will no longer be directly located within our previous server structure. Registration and login should still continue to work through the Bitmeup portal.
The big advantage: If there are ever problems with the Bitmeup servers, the forum should ideally remain available. This allows us to continue providing you with information and keeping you up to date even in case of issues.
Changes
We have made three larger changes that we would like to explain to you today.
Rubblefield Event
In the last team meeting, we discussed the feedback regarding the Transmitter Recycling function in the Synth Network. Some players felt that this function was too strong.
After analyzing the data, we noticed that this function is used exceptionally often, especially in the RETRO universe. In general, we believe that the Synth Network largely regulates itself as long as there are several comparable options that offer similarly strong alternatives depending on the player’s style.
However, upon closer inspection, we found that there was a logic error in the implementation of the rubblefield Event.
There are two types of debris:
- instanced debris fields, which are only visible to the respective player
- global, free debris fields, which can be collected by all players
The player-specific rubblefields were correctly multiplied by the universe speed. The global rubblefields, however, were not adjusted accordingly.
We have therefore made the following changes:
- The values of the global rubblefields have been reduced. We are using Nexus as the baseline here; accordingly, the values were reduced by 66%.
- The intervals at which global rubblefields appear have been adjusted.
- To compensate, the number of instanced rubblefields has been increased by 25%.
Our goal is that players can collect their own rubble more deliberately, while excessive farming of global rubblefields no longer leads to disproportionately high values.
This means that the rubblefeld Event in the target universe RETRO is no longer almost equal to Nexus, but — as with other functions — is now correctly adjusted to the 1x universe speed.
For this reason, we do not want to change the Synth function for Transmitter Recyclers for now and will first observe the community’s reactions.
Space Pass Claim Period
In the past, it happened more often that rewards from the Space Pass were not claimed in time.
This is not only frustrating for the affected players, but also creates additional work for us. We then have to check whether the respective task was fully completed, whether the reward may have already been claimed after all, and how we can safely transfer Spice or other rewards to the player without the possibility of an opponent intercepting or stealing them.
That is why we have decided to introduce an additional claim period for the Space Pass.
From now on, rewards from the previous month’s Space Pass can still be claimed retroactively for 14 days.
This function was already active for the last Pass since the beginning of the month, as we had again received tickets about forgotten rewards from flower tasks and other tasks.
We hope this step helps all players who may have forgotten to claim a reward — including the classic “forgot-my-gym-bag” people among you. ![]()
Messages and Spam
Recently, there has been an increase in the misuse of the ingame message system, especially for sending unauthorized advertising messages.
We had already introduced and adjusted several protective measures. Unfortunately, these measures were once again deliberately bypassed.
To limit further misuse in the short term, we have temporarily disabled the ability to send messages for accounts below 10,000 points.
We are aware that this solution is not ideal and may also affect normal new players. We are not satisfied with this measure ourselves and are already reviewing alternative solutions that can target the problem more precisely.
Please understand that this restriction must remain active for a few days for now.
We are documenting the incidents and reserve the right to take further steps.
In the large meeting with our team and advisors, we also discussed many important next steps. I can already say this much: there are still several interesting changes waiting for you.
For now, however, we need to focus on the migration phase to the new servers.
We wish you a few sunny days in space!
Best regards, Your SpaceInvasion Team
