    Today we added some features for account management in the Bitmeup portal. This is the first step in expanding our community on Discord, Steam and Twitch.



    The following updates have just been released:

    • you can now link your account to a Steam account
      • It is now also possible to log into your Bitmeup account via your Steam account
      • In the future you will also find Bitmeup games in the Steam universe!
    • you can now link your account to a Discord account
      • Linking your Bitmeup account to a Discord account is important for giveaways or competitions.
      • In the future we will regularly give away rewards for the different games on our Discord server!
      • a login via a Discord account is not possible
    • you can now also link your account to a Twitch account
      • We are well aware that Damoria and SpaceInvasion are not Twitch (Stream) games. However, we have a streamer function for SpaceInvasion in development - if you are interested in streaming SpaceInvasion, you are welcome to contact us!
      • We plan to enable the Twitch “Drops”-system for our games.
    • the Bitmeup shop is being revised. It is no longer possible to spend the existing bits. You will not lose these!
    • the Bitmeup portal now offers you 2FA (two factor authentication).
      • Use the Google Authenticator to additionally secure your Bitmeup account. Once you log in, you'll need to enter a 6-digit code from the authenticator app.
      • 2-factor authentication is also enabled for third-party logins. A code is also required to log in with Facebook, Google or Steam (even if they already provide 2FA)
    • Fixed problems that occurred when upgrading our forum software
