Hello Spacepilots!

After the server move there were still some messages that some pages would load slowly. We took a few more days to implement optimizations at various points in the game.

These optimizations are improved database queries but of course also more caching. Many thanks to our team of consultants for testing these changes so that we hopefully don't get any nasty surprises.

Should you still notice unusual behavior of the game or problems, feel free to contact us via the GO button or here in the forum!

Why is this necessary?

We moved to our new server provider in November. All games are now on virtual machines in the cloud. This has the great advantage that we have a very high level of reliability. (that was very important to us)

However, one disadvantage is that we had to rebuild some of our structures for this. Database servers can thus have less “performance” than if they were running on an dedicated (not virtual) server.

Of course, you will quickly notice problems (by the way, also with Damoria or SI2 players)

However, we believe that the optimizations will show improvements and faster loading speeds.
