• Hi, is there any use to having a leveled up lab in other colonies?
It seems i cant research a different thing in each one, and it doesnt seem to speed up the research timer by adding more labs.
So, is there any use to it?
Sorry if it's a dumb question, and thanks.

  • Depends on the Universe you play in.

If you play in Retro, Nexus or Genesis3 you only really need 1 big Lab on one planet. However eventually if you really want to invest heavily into research you can Build Labs on all the other planets since you can build one super computer per planet based on the Labs Level on the planet starting at Lab Level 15 and this can accelerate your research.

But you should only even consider this if you already top 100 or top 50 in total points. Building Supercomputers can be expensive and the daily usage requires a Spice payment.

Additionally to the Supercomputer if you play in Sirius the maximum Research time of any Research can be reduced from 200 days down to 30 days with -1 days for each Level of any Lab you have. So 10 planets with Labs level 17 will give you a maximum Research time of 30 days. This is more efficient than the super computer and you don't really need supercomputers in Sirius. But this only works in Sirius.
